4 Criteria for Choosing a Wooden Bar Stool
When looking for a wooden bar stool, follow these guidelines: meausre the room area, choose the design, decide how many, and choose the quality.
Giving a bar-look area in certain part of your house is fashionable, especially if you always expect a lot of guests. It’s like partying in a bar setting in your very own house. One of the furniture you might need is a wooden bar stool. To help you choose which bar stool to pick, we offer you the following tips.
Measure the room area
The most important step when selecting a wooden bar stool is measuring the area in the room in which you would like to place the bar stools. Bar stools come in different widths and heights and the right measurements are needed to check whether if it is too high or too low for the ones would sit in it. Also measure with respect to the height of the table or counter and maintain an appropriate distance of about at least 10 inches away from the base of the table or counter. This can permit the ones who will set more movements and can allow him to assume a comfortable sitting position.
Choose which design
Determine the bar stool design that you like. Ask help from room designers on the latest cool designs that you wish to add for your room. There are many styles and designs for stools available, so you would not have much of a problem choosing the ones that you would prefer. You can have stools with varied colors or you can have them pattern with the color theme of your kitchen. Decide how many
Determine the quantity of stools to be purchased. If you’re always expecting a lot of guests, you can have as many as a dozen stools. Consider the spacing and positioning of each stool, we suggest about at least 30 inches distance from each stool. This can allow more space for the guests to move freely while sitting. This measurement though is dependent on the size of the stools, the more bulky stools take much more space so an additional distance might be needed. Have the distance in each seat uniform as much as possible.
Check the quality
Always go for the quality over the price. Always do checking if the stools are safe and well-secured for the guests. Also consider if it is easy to clean and does not get stained easily. The durable the material the stools are made of, the lesser maintenance you would do.
