Why is my tool bar and start button not working?
Ive had this problem for about 6 months. Sometimes when I start my laptop, the blue tool bar at the bottom of the screen (and the start button) doesn’t operate. Whenever I try to click on an application in there, its just beeps at me as though it’s invalid.
Ive recently installed and run XoftspySE which detected and removed some trojans.
However, the problem is still occurring. Does anyone know what this could be? And how I could fix it?

ok i had the same issue and is mostly caused by some plugins used in watching movies online.
So what you can do is unistall all the browsers and degrade IE7 to IE6 if you have it.
Remove all the video editing and video players divx is mostly the culprit.
Now try to see if the problem still exists.
